Power of Attorney (PoA), if service is requested through a legal representative.

Limited Power of Attorney (PoA) for the Kurdish Diaspora

The company must be officially registered in the country of origin.

The manager of the company branch in the Kurdistan Region must be a resident of the region.

The company has to be registered for over a year in the country of origin and must have a good financial status.

The company branch must have an official mailing address in the Kurdistan Region.

All foreign certificates and documents must be certified by the KRG's Department of Foreign Relations and the Ministry of Justice.

Authentications / Attestations of Documents Issued out of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq by the Department of Foreign Relations

Documents

Certificate of company registration in the country of origin, translated to Arabic or Kurdish and certified by the Iraqi Embassy or Kurdistan Regional Government Representative in respected country (or at nearest Iraqi Embassy).

Contract of company establishment in the country of origin, translated to Arabic or Kurdish and certified by the Iraqi Embassy or Kurdistan Regional Government Representative in respected country (or at nearest Iraqi Embassy).

Latest financial statement of the main company and translated into Arabic or Kurdish language and certified by the Iraqi Embassy or Kurdistan Regional Government Representative in respected country (or at nearest Iraqi Embassy).

Minutes of the Board of Directors meeting of the main company stating the agreement to open a branch in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq; translated into Arabic or Kurdish language and certified by the Iraqi Embassy or Kurdistan Regional Government Representative in respected country (or at nearest Iraqi Embassy).

This document should officially be addressed to General Directorate of Companies Registration in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, where the delegated manager and its authorities along with the legal representative are appointed.

National Identity Card and Residence Card of the branch manager, if Iraqi, and a copy of passport and residency card if a foreign national.

Office lease agreement or proof of ownership.

200,000 IQD foreign company branch registration fee.
50.000 IQD document auditing fee.
25,000 IQD advertising fee.
25,000 IQD company office inspection fee.

Procedures

Requesting an online account from official website of the General Directorate of Companies Registration online through (crkrg.org) website.

Company Account Registration Portal

The requestor must visit the Legal Department to certify the documents and the prepared contract.
