Description
According to Law No. 1 of 2011 in the Kurdistan Parliament, any NGOs in the Kurdistan Region can register to operate in the region, but occasionally the KRG institutions require NGOs to verify their up-to-date registration, therefore, a support letter from the DNGO is requested.

Conditions
Reference to the Law No. (1), year of (2011) of Kurdistan Parliament, the NGO must be registered in the Department of Non-Governmental Organization and complete the post- registration legal requirements.
The NGO must fulfil the post- registration legal requirements.
Documents
A copy of the NGOs administrative decree.
If the requestor is an Iraqi national, National ID and Residence Card of the founder and the chief executive officer is required.
Foreign applicant must provide copies of Passport and Residency.

Procedures
The requestor must visit the KRG's Department of NGOs, administration bureau, in order to request the support letter.
The request will be raised to the head of the Department of NGOs for approval.
Then the administration team will prepare the draft of the support letter.
The letter will be signed by the Head of DNGOs.
